Worship Arts 

At Maiden Lane we seek to provide opportunities to experience the presence of God through meaningful worship moments in order to Glorify Him. There are many ways you can use your gifts to worship and serve Him. Check out the links below to learn more about our Worship Arts ministries.

Maiden Lane Worship Choir

 

Our Worship Choir is open to any individual who has a gift and passion for singing His praises in a choral setting. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm. They sing most Sunday mornings and for special seasonal programming as scheduled. they also participate fully in The Living Christmas Tree each year. Contact Pastor Cynthia for more information.

Worship Teams

Our Worship Teams are comprised of singers and instrumentalists who have a gift and passion for leading people in worship. the teams serve on a rotation basis and rehearse on Wednesday evenings. Worship teams are used in both our traditional and contemporary service formats. Instrumentalists that are used on a weekly basis include:

  • Piano, synthesizer, organ or electric piano

  • Bass guitar

  • Acoustic guitar/electric guitar

  • Drum set / aux percussion

Worship Orchestra

We have instrumentalists playing on a scheduled basis in support of the worship services and seasonal presentations. Brass, wind, and string instruments are used.
 

Children’s Music Ministry

On Wednesday evenings children have the opportunity to participate in Seekers and Singers. Seekers and Singers 1 is for children age 4 through 1st grade, while Seekers and Singers 2 serves grades 2 through 5. These groups meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm from September through May. Both groups enjoy a time of Bible study, music and worship learning, and just plain having fun!  Each group also prepares a musical for presentation to the congregation each year. Hand Bell Choir

This group of people play our 5 octave set of hand bells for worship on a scheduled basis. Rehearsals for this group are currently on Monday evenings from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. New members are always welcome.

 Drama and Worship Dance Ministry

Our Drama and Worship Dance teams are open to any individuals who have a gift and passion for serving in this way. These teams present skits and special worship moments on Sunday mornings and for special seasonal programming as scheduled. They also participate fully in the The Living Christmas Tree each year. Technical Support Ministry

Do you love to work with technology? If so, we have a place for you! This ministry uses a team of people each Sunday to provide tech support in the following areas:

  • Media Shout

  • Sound Technician

  • Lighting Technician

  • Video Recording

  • Audio Recording

Experience is not required and training will be provided. Contact Pastor Cynthia for more information.
 

Interior Design and Décor Ministry

Our Interior Design and Décor team uses their gifts to decorate the sanctuary platform, lobby and welcome center using promotional or seasonal themes. You can use your gifts in flower arranging, sewing, or even heavy lifting s the team moves items around. This team also heads up the decoration team for The Living Christmas Tree.
