Senior Adults MinistryENERGIZERS Senior Adults Ages 55-Plus ENERGIZERS are persons who are age 55 plus and interested in fun, fellowship and learning. Some work, some are retired, some are married, and many are widowed or single. ENERGIZERS enjoy the fellowship of other Senior Adults, good food, great field trips and programs. Through our fellowship, we build enduring friendships and discover opportunities to share and serve in God's service. ENERGIZERS believe Christ calls us to do anything we can to assure no one is alone, to love others toward Jesus and to glorify God with our time, gifts and talents. ENERGIZERS put God first in their lives and let their light shine for the world to see. Every third Thursday: 12:00 Noon …Game Day and Potluck. Bring your favorite covered dish and game and share in fellowship and fun. Last Thursday of the Month: 12:00 Noon …Golden Agers fellowship and potluck featuring guest speakers and entertainment. ENERGIZERS UPCOMING EVENTS April 22, 2010... Trip to La Comedia to see Phantom. Only 40 tickets available for this trip. Bus leaves at 5:00 PM and includes a buffet dinner and show. Seating is at floor level with NO STAIRS!!! Cost $45.00. May 20, 2010... Mystery Trip. Bus leaves at 10:00 AM. Lunch included. Cost $30.00 June 17, 2010... Trip to the The Wilds. Ride the bus through the wild animal safari. Trip includes lunch. Bus leaves at 8 AM and will return about 5 PM. Cost $40.00 July 22, 2010... Mystery trip. Bus leaves at 9:30 AM. Lunch included. Cost $30.00. July 30-August 8, 2010... Springfield Camp Meeting. 7:00 PM. Senior Adult Fellowship at 6:00 PM. August 28, 2010... Cookout at the Springfield Church of God Campgrounds. 6:00 PM. Cost $7.50. September 30, 2010... Engergizers trip to Bearcreek Farms in Bryant, Indiana, to see Stand Up Comedian, Carl Hurley. Includes a buffet lunch. Bus leaves at 9:00 AM. Cost $45.00. October 15, 2010... Trip to Marietta, Ohio, for the Valley Gem Riverboat Cruise to see the fall colors. Trip includes lunch. Bus leaves at 8:00 AM. Cost $45.00. October 28, 2010... Fall Feast at Der Dutchman in Waynesville. Includes family style lunch, pie and entertainment. Bus leaves at 10:00 AM. Cost $16.00. November 8-12, 2010... Trip to Pigeon Forge, TN, to see the Christmas lights and shows. Brochure available at the Information Center in the Lobby. Bus leaves at 7:00 AM. Cost $500.00. December 17, 2010... Annual Senior Adult Christmas Dinner at 6:00 PM. Cost $7.50. December 22, 2010... Energizer visits to shut-ins at 10:00 AM. Breakfast at 9:00 AM at Collier's Restaurant before we divide up in teams and go out.
